Alma was born on 16 October 1876 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York.1 She was the daughter of Edward Hancock and Annis Alma Wilkins. She married William Sherman Almonrode on 13 May 1899.1 Alma died on 21 January 1965 at age 88.1
