Lewis was born on 31 March 1903 at Alexandria, Madison County, Indiana.1 He was the son of LeRoy Myers and Grace Estella Albright. He married Helen Coolman at Orlando, Orange County, Florida, on 4 December 1925.1 Lewis died on 30 January 1950 at age 46.1
