Mrs. Theuman Funeral Rites
Funeral services for Mrs. Nathalie H. Theuman, 93, of Bellville were held from the Chapel of the Pete E. Etlinger Funeral Home in Bellville at 2 p.m. on
Tuesday, June 8 with Rev. O. K. Oelke officiating. Interment was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: grandson, Robert Uhlig, Wayne Uhlig, Larry Uhlig, Glenn Ray Noviskie, Robert Theuman, Gary L. Noviskie, Doug Dillard, Thomas Mitchell,
Alan Arnold, Daniel Hill and James Theuman.
Mrs. Theuman passed away in the Bellville Sweetbriar Nursing Home at 7:28 a.m. on Sunday, June 6, 1976 having attained the age of 93 years, 5 months and
13 days. She had been in failing health for the past five months.
Born in the Bernardo community in Colorado county on December 23, 1882, she was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John and Henrietta Berger.
She was reared in the Bernardo Community and attended the Bachelor Hill Community Public School. She
was a member of the Bellville St. John Lutheran Church and also the Ladies Aid of the Church.
The former Miss Nathalie Berger was married to Rudolph W. Theuman on October 10, 1905 in ceremonies performed in Frelsburg.
Mr. Theuman passed away on May 20, 1942.
Survivors include: daughters, Mrs. Gladys Uhlig of Bellville, Mrs. Bernetta Uhlig of Bernardo and Mrs. Stanley (Myrtle) Noviskie of Houston; sons, Elmo H. Theuman and Allen H. Theuman, both of Houston; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren., She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers.
