Eric Felix Villarreal, 13, of Brenham passed away Thursday, Nov. 13,
2003 in
Houston, Texas.
He was born May 14, 1990 to Rolando and Linda (Schmid)
Villarreal in Gretna, Louisiana. Eric was an eighth grade student at
Brenham
ISD, a member of Natural Helpers, Band, Soccer, Cross Country and
Boy Scouts
and a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his parents Rolando and Linda Villarreal of
Brenham,
brother Nicholas Christopher Villarreal of Brenham, grandparents
Edwin and
Florine Schmid of Brenham and Ramon and Cleotilda Villarreal of
Corpus
Christi, uncles and wives Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Schmid, Mr. & Mrs.
Raymond
Villarreal, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Newman. Mr. & Mrs. Rick Mirelas, Mr.
& Mrs.
Danny Vaughan, Mr. & Mrs. Rene Villarreal and numerous cousins and
his pets
whom he loved and who will miss him, Clover his dog, Little Gray,
his cat
and Blaze his horse.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003 in St.
Peter's
Episcopal Church with Rev. Cecilia Smith officiating. Interment
followed in
Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Rees, Raymond Villarreal, Rene Villarreal,
Steven
Newman, Rick Mirelas and Danny Vaughan. Honorary pallbearers are
members of
Boy Scout Troop 74 and the Hammer 90 Soccer Team.
Memorials may be given to The Humane Society, St. Peter's Episcopal
Church
or Boy Scouts of America.
Funeral arrangement are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel,
Brenham,
Texas.
