Beatrice Adeline White died Dec. 23, 2003 in Sealy, Texas.

Beatrice Adeline Shattuck White was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at home. She was the sixth child of Beatrice Adeline Lynch Shattuck and Albert W. Shattuck. A name had not been selected for the latest arrival. The family doctor, honoring her mother, named her Beatrice.

Beatrice attended public schools in California and Okmulgee where she graduated in the class of 1940. A devoted alumnus, Beatrice attended class reunions, as health permitted, until that program was disbanded. Even at the ending of the reunions contacts were maintained with many of those lifelong friends, until like Beatrice, the final chapter was penned.

The former Beatrice Adeline Shattuck married Albert Daniel White August 12, 1940 in a solemn ceremony in presence of their families in the parlor of the home of her birth. To that union two children were born.

Beatrice is survived by her husband Albert Daniel White, son Albert Daniel, Jr. and wife Linda and daughter Cheryl Ann Dennis and her husband Richard.

She is grandmother to Vernon White and his wife Heather, Elizabeth White, Kimberly Ann Gottfried Cleland and her husband Jeff, Nathan Gottfried and his wife Mei and Brendan Dennis. She is great grandmother to Kelsey and Tristan Cleland and a new arrival Audrey Danyelle White, daughter of Elizabeth, which was a sustaining factor in Beatrice's life. She fretted over whether there would be opportunity to see and hold Audrey.

Preceded in death by her father and mother, sisters Ruth Bradshaw, Delores Kerr, Betty White and brothers Admiral Charles Shattuck and Will (Father Bill) Shattuck.

Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy, Texas.
