Funeral services for Lillie Dell Deutrich, 88, of Bellville were held on Tuesday, May 25, 2004, from St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellville at 11 a.m. with the Rev. H. Eldon Ackerman officiating. Pallbearers were Winston Deutrich, Wilbert Deutrich, Alan Wienecke, Gary Zander, Phillip Zander, and Frankie Hoppe. Interment was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. Lillie Dell Deutrich was born in the Ives Creek Community to parents Herman and Annie Schavrda Zander. She was raised in Ives Creek, Buckhorn, and Raccoon Bend areas and attended school in Ives Creek. On October 6, 1940, she married Mr. Raymond Deutrich at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellville. She was a beautician by trade, and she was very active in the VFW Auxiliary. She was a Sunday School teacher for 17 years and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Mary Circle. An avid bowler, she bowled a 200 game at the age of 79. Lillie Dell Deutrich died on Saturday May 22, 2004 in Bellville. Lillie is survived by her daughter; Phyllis Johnson, and husband Bill; sons, Raymond Deutrich and wife Ondrea, and Fred Deutrich and wife Susan, all of Bellville; sisters, Ora Nell Hoppe, Evelyn Krumrey, and Doris King and husband Clarence; brothers, Isador Zander and wife Ileene, and Harry Zander and wife Lenora; grandchildren Jan Johnson Underbrink, Mary Lane Johnson Kuharski, Ty Rankin Johnson, Kelly Deutrich Hancock, Scott Wayne Dement, Nicole Lea Dement Jones; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Annie Schavrda Zander; husband, Raymond Deutrich; grandson Kyle Deutrich; sister, Alwina Zander Wienecke; and brothers, Roy, Herman, and Sterling Zander.
