Funeral services for Maria Del Carmen Hernandez, 29, of Sealy were held
Monday, April 19, 2004, at 10 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church in Sealy with the Rev. Bernard Snock celebrating the funeral Mass and
Rite of Committal. Interment was at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in
Sealy. Serving as pallbearers were Joe J. Cevallos Jr., Salomon Sanchez,
Jr., Ramiro Benavides, Jaime Guerra, Trinidad Pina, Jesus Almaquer, Cesar A.
Sanchez and Victor Trejo.
Born in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico, Carmen was the daughter of Salomon and
Dolores (Macias) Sanchez.
On April 20, 2001 the former Miss Maria Del Carmen Sanchez was joined in
marriage to Mr. Javier Hernandez with a ceremony held in Bellville.
Carmen loved to go shopping, especially at Foley's, she loved to dance and
walk on her treadmill but she truly enjoyed to shower her nieces and nephews
with love. 
Maria Del Carmen Hernandez died on Friday, April 16, 2004 in Brookshire.
She is survived by her husband, Javier Hernandez of Sealy; parents, Salomon,
Sr. and Dolores Sanchez of Sealy; grandmother, Maria Del Carmen Macias of
San Luis, Potosi, Mexico; sisters and brothers-in-law, Adrianna and Victor
Trejo, Sandra and Juan Salazar, Laura and Mauro Aguado and Martha and Joe
Cevallos all of Sealy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alex and Yolanda
Sanchez, Salomon, Jr. and Elizabeth Sanchez, Jesus Sanchez and Aracely
Sanchez all of Sealy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Demetrio and Refugio Sanchez;
grandfather, Manuel Macias; and niece, Nathalie Trejo.
