RAYMOND KRAUSE
Bellville Times
Raymond Krause, 89, of Bleiblerville, died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at
Colonial Belle Nursing Home in Bellville. He was born March 24, 1915 in the
Welcome Community to Gustav and Alma Becker Krause and attended Victoria
School in Bleiblerville. He was baptized on May 23, 1915 by Pastor R. Appel
and confirmed on April 13, 1930 by Pastor Jacob Appel. Raymond served in the
U.S. Army working in the orthopedic unit in new Orleans during World War II
he was a life long member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Welcome and was a
farmer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Alma Becker Krause; and
sister and brother-in-law, Selma and Herman Blezinger.
Survivors include nieces Karen Galle and husband Burnie of New Ulm, Beatrice
Rinn and husband Jay Dee of Industry; nephew Kermit Blezinger and wife
Juanita of Needville and numerous cousins.
Visitation with family was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2004 at
Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Tuesday,
August 17, at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome. Pastor Jason
Korthauer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers
were Matt Walls, Matt Waak, Paul Blezinger, Darin Belzinger, Roy Martin,
Tommy Wise and Randy Rinn.
Memorials may be given to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome.
Funeral services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, Brenham
