Funeral services for Emma J. Machala, 83, of Sealy were held Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 11 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with the Rev. Octavio Muguerza celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was in the Immaculate conception Cemetery in Sealy. Serving as pallbearers were Ryan, Christopher, Tyler, Daryl, Cody and Gary Machala and Nathan Schneidre. Emma was born in Engle to parents Charles and Julia Marek Jalufka. She was raised in Engle and attended school there. Emma was joined in marriage to Henry Machala on April 12, 1948 in the old Immaculate Conception Church in Sealy. She was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, S.P.J.S.T. #88 of Houston and American Legion Auxiliary #442. Emma J. Machala died June 9, 2004 in Richmond. Emma is survived by her husband, Henry Machala of Sealy; daughter, Charlene Schneider and husband Robert of Blue, Oklahoma; sons, Wayne Machala and wife Elizabeth of Sealy, Tommy Machala and wife Brenda of Sealy, David Machala and wife Wendy of Sealy, Mark Machala and wife Dee Anne of Sealy; sisters, Bessie Dewer of Houston, Josie Buri of Houston, Edith Pavlicek of Houston; sister-in-law, Viola Jalufka of South Houston; and thirteen grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Julia Jalufka; sisters, Della Kadlecek and Olga Siska; brother, Charles Jalufka; son, Gary James Machala and two grandchildren, Kevin Wayne Machala and Wayne Machala, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Austin County Unit, Verna Lois Deere Memorial Chairman, P.O.
