Funeral services for Roberto Esteban Moya, 81, of Sealy were held Monday,
Nov. 15, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with
the Rev. Octavio Muguerza officiating the service and Rite of Committal.
Interment was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Sealy. Serving as
pallbearers were family members and friends.
Mr. Moya was born in Bayamo, Cuba. He was the son of Andres Moya and
Victoria Diez. He was raised in Bayamo, Cuba and attended school there. On
July 17, 1948, Roberto and the former Miss Elda Cedeno were married with the
ceremony held in Cuba. Mr. Moya was a member of Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church. He worked in maintenance in the plastics industry.
Roberto Moya died in Katy Memorial Hermann Hospital, Friday, Nov. 12, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Elda Cedeno Moya  of Sealy; daughters and
sons-in-law, Maria and Ruben Aguilar of Sealy, Teresita and Giuseppe
DiDonato of Florida and Elda and Jose Viana of New Jersey; son, Robert Moya
of New Jersey; sister, Victoria Martinez and husband Jacinto of Florida; and
brother, Edmundo Moya of New Jersey. Grandchildren, Domenic DiDonato, Ana
DiDonato, Ruben Aguilar and Rosemarie Viana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Inez, Teresa, Juana Elena;
and brothers, Pepe, Andres, Humberto, Felix and Rafael.
