Funeral services for Larry Nesbitt, 53, of Fayetteville, were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Koenig and Strickland Chapel in LaGrange with the Rev. Dennis Keen officiating and Mark Montgomery giving the eulogy. Interment followed in the Pilgrimıs Rest Cemetery in Industry. Visitation began at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home and continued until service time on Wednesday. Pallbearers in service were Rick Nesbitt, Chet Hedge, Steven Nesbitt, Leonard Gomez, Juan Amura, and Mark Arldt. Honorary Pallbearer was Geff Blevins. Larry was born September 19, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Wesley and Ann McDaniel Nesbitt. A mechanical engineer, he was a senior start up engineer for Siemans-Westinghouse for the last 4 years and before that 23 years with Fisher Service Company. He married Loyce Jean ³Jeanie² Franklin Blevins on Dec. 15, 1990, in Fayetteville. He had lived the last 15 years in the Fayetteville area. He enjoyed outdoor sports, especially hunting and fishing, and he also restored antique vehicles and lately became involved in raising horses. Larry passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at his residence near Weimar at the age of 53 years, 2 months, and 18 days. He is preceded in death by his father, Wesley Nesbitt. Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Nesbitt of Fayetteville; his mother, Ann Nesbitt of Springfield, Ohio; four children, Nicole Arldt and husband Mark of Giddings, Steven Nesbitt and wife Stephanie of Houston, Geff Blevins and wife Margie of Schulenburg, Gregory Blevins and wife Julia of Midalothian. Larry Nesbitt leaves ten grandchildren, Landon Nesbitt, Dela, Gettie, April, Judy, Joseph, Amanda, Dale, Becky and Buddy Blevins; four great-grandchildren, Savannah, Ricky, Levy and Gage; sister, Nancy Hedge and husband Chester; brother, Rick Nesbitt and wife Debbie, all of Springfield, Ohio; as well as a niece, Cari Hedge; and two nephews, Michael and Patrick Nesbitt remain.
