Funeral services for Elsie Kveton Schultz, 98, of Sealy were held 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2004 from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the Rev. Dale Leland officiating. Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery,. Pallbearers for the service were Kinch Meyer, Jr., David Meyer, Randy Tomlinson, David Ellis, Kinch Meyer III, Cody Tomlinson, Thomas Ellis, and Josh Hearen. The former Miss Elsie Kveton was born in Cat Spring to parents Albert and Theresa Sens Kveton. She was raised in Cat Spring and attended the Cat Spring Public School. On July 28, 1925, she married Edwin W. Schultz in Sealy and worked for Hughes Tool as a machinist for 28 years. She also was a rancher and homemaker for her children and husband. Mrs. Schultz died Friday, August 13, 2004 in Sealy. Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Meyer and Jewell Tomlinson both of Sealy; sister-in-law, Lillian Kveton of Columbus; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Theresa Kveton, husband, Edwin W. Schultz; sisters, Ora Mae Batla and Estella Frazier; brothers, Herman, Hugo, Leo and Emmette Kveton; sons-in-law, Kinch Meyer and Charles Ray Tomlinson. Memorial contribution can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, 402 Atchison St., Sealy Texas 77474. Funeral services were held under the direction of the Knesek Family Funeral Chapel of Sealy.
