Funeral services for Micager "Mike" Shelburne Jr., 85, of Sealy, were held Tuesday, Feb 10, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy with the Rev. Dale Leland officiating.

Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service were
Douglas Buchtien, David Buchtien, Joseph Wernecke, Billy King, Frankie Surovcak and Jonathan Surovcak.

Mike Shelburne Jr. was born to parents Micager and Erna Kulow Shelburne Sr. in Sealy. He was raised in Sealy and attended school at Cleveland Public School.

On Sept. 16, 1959 he married the former Miss Mildred Konescheck in Sealy and was a carpenter building homes in the Sealy area. Mr. Shelburne was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy, the Farm Bureau and Woodmen of the World.

Mr. Shelburne died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004 in Sealy.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Shelburne of Sealy, son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Joyce Shelburne of Orland, Ind., grandchildren, Andrew and Brent Shelburne, Christine Fulton, and Denise Dodge; sister, Erna Mac Buchtien of Sealy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Micager and Erna Shelburne Sr.

Funeral service were held under the direction of the Knesek Bros. of Sealy.
