Colson Clinton Wilhelm Colson was born May 29,1982 in Houston, the son of Tanya Addis Schmit and John William Colson. On Jan. 17, 2004 Clint was united in marriage with Miss Eileen Wadephul in Wallis. Clint and Eileen made their home in Whitney, Texas. Clint was employed by Theut Glass in Columbus and Steiner Valley Ranch in Whitney. A member of the Cat Spring Volunteer Fire Department, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Clint and Eileen were in the process of moving to Bellville when Clint passed away suddenly at the age of 23. He is survived his wife Eileen Wadephul Colson of Bellville; daughter Rebecca Lynn Colson of Bellville; mother and stepfather Tanya and Lowell Schmit of Cat Spring; father John Colson of Burleigh; brothers R. Joseph Magee and wife Dawn of Frankinton. La., Jahn Colson of Cat Spring; grandparents Gloria Florence Church of Montgomery, Betty Howard of Humble, and Edward Addis of Angleton and niece and nephew Kenley and Ethan Magee of Franklinton, La. Rosary was recited Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005 at Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in Bellville. Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Bellville. Father Tim Bucek and Father Richard Johnston, Co-Celebrants. Burial followed in the Cat Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Thuesen, Shane Carter, Brian Smith, Brian Gardener, Destry Brobston and Jeff Barry.
