Funeral services for Josephine Grigar, 85, of Wallis, were conducted Thursday, Dec. 15 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis with the Rev. Richard Johnston celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal. She died Sunday, December 11, 2005. Interment was at 1 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Industry. Josephine was born in Latium TX, near Shelby, the daughter of Anton and Julie (Pilcik) Sklar. She was raised in Industry and attended the County Line Public School. The former Miss Josephine Sklar married Albert Grigar Sr. on December 27, 1941. She was a lifetime homemaker and enjoyed her family very much. She is survived by: her sons -- Carl Grigar and wife Elissa of Sugar Land, Dan Grigar and wife Mary of Brenham, Albert Grigar and wife Barbara of Wallis; grandchildren -- Katheryn Knesek and husband Mark, Kevin Grigar and wife Shirley, Dinna Grobe and husband, Jeff, Doug Grigar and wife Marion, Kenny Grigar and wife Meredith; great-grandchildren -- Ryan Knesek, Morgan Knesek, Kailey Grigar, Kendall Grobe, Kaleb Grobe, Henry Grigar and Alicia Grigar, Hayden Grigar and River Grigar; step-great-grandchildren -- Helen Huddleston and Cheryl Buckley; and step great-great-grandchildren -- Brook and Brent. Preceded in death by her parents Anton and Julie Sklar, husband Albert Grigar, Sr., son Patrick Grigar, sister Irene Lahrmann and brothers Anton III, Daniel, Edward and Dominic Sklar. Pallbearers serving were Kenny grigar, Kevin Grigar, Jeff Grobe, Mark Knesek, Mark Lahrmann and Shawn Denison. Honorary pallbearers were Doug Grigar, Ryan Knesek, Morgan Knesek, Henry Grigar, Alicia Grigar, Hayden Grigar, Kailey Grigar, Kendall grobe, Kaleb Grobe, River Grigar and Rick Sklar.
