    Edna Lehmann Gueldner age 95 of Brenham and formerly of Bellville passed
away Sunday, October 16, 2005 in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center.
    Mrs. Gueldner was born July 29, 1910 in the Muellersville community to
Albert Carl and Anna (Hoffmann) Lehmann. She was baptized January 15, 1911
at Salem Lutheran Church of Salem by Pastor Johannes Mgebroff and confirmed
at Salem Lutheran Church April 5, 1925 by Pastor William Utesch. She
received her education from the rural school of Salem and Blinn College.
    She was married to Harold Gueldner on November 10, 1932 at Salem
Lutheran Church by Pastor William Utesch.
    Mrs. Gueldner was a former employee of J.B. White and Wienerıs
department stores. She was also involved in the family ranching business
with her husband.
    Mrs. Gueldner was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold Gueldner in
1997; brothers Albert Lehmann, Herman Lehmann and Edgar Lehmann; sisters
Norma Lehmann Nordt, Lillian Lehmann Dannhaus and infant sister Emmie
    She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews
and great great nieces and nephews.
    Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in
Brenham Memorial Chapel.
    Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2005 in
the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Salem with Rev. Bill Derrick and
Rev Charles Parnell officiating. Burial followed in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Roy Dannhaus, Robert Lehmann, Kenneth Lehmann, Joseph
Randle, Milton Fred Hueske and Lonnie Nordt.
    In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Salem Lutheran Church
Memorial Fund, 1500 Salem Rd., Brenham, TX 77833 or Hospice, 302 East Blue
Bell Rd, Brenham, TX 77833.
    Funeral services were in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300
Stringer St., Brenham, Texas 979-836-3611.
