Jones

Lennon "Richard" Jones was born January 8, 1952 in Brenham, the son of V.
Frank and Grace Jones. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed riding his
motorcycle, flying remote control airplanes, construction work with his
brother, and water skiing. He was and always will be dearly loved and
remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leon Richard and
Gussie Mittanck, paternal grandparents, Lowry Lenon and Ollie May Jones and
older brother, Ray Franklin Jones.
Richard is survived by his parents; V. Frank and Grace Jones; aunt: Hazel
King; brother: David Jones and wife, Glenda; sister: J.K. Creevy and
husband, Torquil; children: Lennon (Len) Jones and wife, Janet; Kristin
Jones Kotlar and husband, Bobby; grandchildren: Justin Blake, Baleigh,
Jillian and Dylan; nieces: Julianna and Jennifer; nephews: Jason, Evan, trey
and Jarrett; and numerous cousins.
Honorary pallbearers were Len Jones, Butch Adamson, Randy Williams, Tony
Stewart, David Jones, Jason Edgar and Evan Jones.
Memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2005 at the Schmidt
Funeral Home Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Gary Henneke officiating. The
family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial gifts to
Hospice Care Team at 1708 Amburn, Suite C, Texas City, Texas 77591 or Brazos
Valley Hospice, 302 East Horton St., Brenham.
