Krumrey Melton Arlen Krumrey was born June 8, 1940 in Bellville, the son of Herbert and Norma Stamnitz Krumrey. He was united in marriage on June 4. 2002 in Hempstead to Patricia Kays; they made their home in Bellville. Melton retired from Cameron Iron Works after 45 years. He fulfilled lifetime goals of becoming a Pastor and was blessed with performing the marriage ceremony for his granddaughter, Candi Diemer and her husband, Greg Stilts. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Krumrey and first wife, Jackie, in 2001. Melton passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005 in Bellville at the age of 65. He is survived by his Wife Patricia Krumrey of Bellville; mother Norma Krumrey and special friend, Lloyd Parson of Bellville; brother Michael Krumrey and wife, Laverne of Brenham; children Frankie Krumrey and wife Donna of Bellville, Debbie Diemer and husband Ted of Sealy and Richard Krumrey and wife Joy of Kansas City, Kan.; grandchildren Candi Stilts and husband Greg, Neal Diemer, Bobby Boyd, Rusty Krumrey and wife, Krystal, Ashely Krumrey, Brian Boyd and Morgan Krumrey; great grandchildren Tanner, Hunter, Logan and Quinton; nephew John Krumrey and family of Bellville. Final arrangements were under the direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.
