Funeral services for Marjorie Edna McKinstry, 83, of Bellville, were held
Monday, April 25 at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bellville
with the Rev. Bob Gribble officiating. Grave side service was at 2 p.m. in
Houston at Hollywood Cemetery.
Born in Houston, Marjorie was the daughter of Edward B. and Edna (Ahern)
Schulz. She was raised in Houston, a Jefferson Davis High School graduate
and a Massey Business College graduate. Marjorie worked as a secretary for
many years at American general Life Insurance. The former Miss Marjorie Edna
Schulz married Thomas J. McKinstry in 1953 in Houston. She was a member of
St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bellville.
Marjorie Edna McKinstry died Friday, April 22 in Bellville.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law  George and Maryann Schulz
of Bellville; nephews: Capt. Gerhard M. Schulz and wife Monique of Columbus,
Georgia, Karl E. Schulz of Houston, Edward B. Schulz and wife Janis of
Houston; great-nieces: Laura L. Schulz of Houston, Emily K. Hayes and
husband Jeff of Houston, and Jordyn A. Schulz of Atlanta, Georgia.
Preceded in death by parents; Edward B. and Edna (Ahern) Schulz, husband
Thomas J. McKinstry, and brother Edward B. Schulz Jr.
Arrangements were by Knesek Family Funeral Chapels.
