Funeral services for Willie J. Muzik, 85, of Sealy, Texas were held Thursday, May 26 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate conception Catholic Church in Sealy with the Rev. Octavio Muguerza celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was at the Holy Cross Polish Cemetery near Sealy. Pallbearers serving were Frank C. Manak, Alex Vaclavik and Johnnie Popp. Born in El Campo, Willie was the son of Paul and Mary (Trcka) Muzik. He was raised in El Campo and attended El Campo Public Schools. Willie worked as an agriculture laborer. Mrs. Willie J. Muzik married the former Miss Albina Manak in February, 1950 in Sealy. He served his country during WW II in the U.S. Army. He was a member of KJT in Sealy, the American Legion and he was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He died May 22nd in Houston. Muzik was survived by his wife, Albina Muzik of Sealy; a daughter: Betty Arnold and her husband Robert; a twin sister: Mary Wessels of Copperas Cove; and grandchildren: Ryan and Jeannette Bilsk, Megan and Robert Arnold. Preceded in death by parents: Paul and Mary Muzik; sister: Julia Vaclavik; brother, Emil Muzik; and stepbrother: Louis Trcka. Funeral services were under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy.
