    Funeral services for Kenneth Lowell Parker, 70, of Sealy, Texas were
held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2005 from Christian City
Fellowship with Rev. Rusty Griffin officiating. Interment was in the Sealy
Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Lucas Parker, Shane Parker, Phillip
Parker, Jeff Kleemeyer, Al Kleemeyer, Don Zachary, Jr. and Dale O¹Bryan.
    Born in Harlingen, Texas, Kenneth was the son of Eunis Lee and Elgerine
Parker. He was raised in Harlingen and graduated from San Benito High
School. Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean
Conflict. On May 19, 1956 Kenneth was joined in marriage to the former Miss
Virginia Nesmith with a ceremony held in Harlingen. Kenneth and Virginia
lived in San Benito where he was the owner of A-1 Trucking Equipment in
Harlingen. Along with owning a business Kenneth also worked in the salvage
and construction business, building grain elevators, highways and he helped
his dad build a church in Combes, TX. Kenneth and Virginia moved to Sealy in
1986 where he continued to work in the trucking industry. He was a former
member of the Elks Lodge and a member of Christian City Fellowship in Sealy.
Kenneth Lowell Parker died Wednesday, August 17, 2005 in Bellville, Texas.
    Survived by his wife, Virginia Parker of Sealy, Texas; children, John
Parker of Harlingen, Linda Donaldson and husband Terry of Riverton, Wyoming,
and Debra Kleemeyer and husband Alfred of Ft. Worth, James Gartman and wife
Jessica of Friendswood; sister, Beverly Rankin and husband Joe of LaMarque;
grandchildren, Lucas, Shane, Phillip and Megan Parker, Rachel and Stephanie
Reckling, Jeff Kleemeyer, Jason, Andrea and Brittney Gartman; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
    Preceded in death by his parents, Eunis and Elgerine Parker and brother,
William Henry ³Bill² Parker.
