Funeral Services for David Quinton, 64, of Magnolia were held Thursday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. from Knesek Brothers. Highway 36 Funeral Chapel, 1140 Meyer in Sealy with the Rev. Tom Bolin officiating. Interment was in San Felipe Cemetery in San Felipe. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Adams, Tom Holcombe, Bill Mixon, Jack Williams, Jackie Warren and Adrean Blakey. Born in Sealy, David was the son of Thomas Carl (T.C.) and Hilda Clara (Skrivanek) Quinton. He was raised in Brookshire and graduated from Katy High School. David worked as a commercial electrician. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookshire and the local union, IBEW #716. David was an avid deer hunter. David Quinton died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005. He is survived by his soul mate, Donna Rushing of Magnolia; daughters Alicia Leonard and husband Steven of Richmond, Melissa Tidwell and fiance Randy Babbitt of Spring, Jaimie Holman of Spring; son, Scott Quinton of Oak Ridge; sister, Joyce Davis and husband Louis of Katy and grandchildren, Katelyn Leonard, Bryan, Mandy, Raelynn and Shelby Tidwell, Trey and Danielle Holman. Preceded in death by his parents, T.C. and Hilda Quinton and uncles, Charles and Rudolph Skrivanek. Funeral Services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapel in Sealy. Posted by Joy Neely
