Funeral services for Laura P. Rinn, 92, of Industry, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at the Industry United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patricia Newcomer, officiating. Interment followed in the Industry Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation began after noon on Monday at the Zaskoda Chapel in Industry and where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Rinn was born Nov. 19, 1912, in the Lone Star Community (near Industry), the daughter of Robert and Emma (Gross) Glaeser. She attended Henkhaus and Industry schools and married Robert Frederick Rinn on Oct. 28, 1928, in the Lone Star Community. A life long resident of the Industry area, she was a member of the Industry United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and cleaned the church for 25 years. She was a member of the Sons of Hermann Shelby Lodge #28. A homemaker her entire life, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, flower gardening, cooking, baking and helped her husband with the ranching duties. Mrs. Rinn passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 26, 2005, in a Bellville nursing home at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 7 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Emma (Gross) Glaeser; her husband, Robert F. Rinn; infant daughter, Dorothy Ruth Rinn; (3) sisters, Hilma Persky, Dessie Rinn and Esther Rinn; (2) brothers, Walter and Ralph Glaeser. Survivors include: daughter, Waldine Rudloff and husband Oliver; sons, Robert Lee Rinn and wife Virginia and Curtis Rinn and wife Dorothy, all of Industry; grandchildren, Randall Rudloff and wife Susan of Flagstaff, Ariz., Michael Rudloff of Industry, Sandra Bean and husband Barry of Katy, Robert Wayne Rinn and wife Tammie of Industry, Curtis Darrel Rinn and wife Pam of Flower Mound, Karen Engeling and husband Craig of Industry; great grandchildren Brock Feller, Rustin Feller, Rachel Keele and husband Danny, Kyle Bean, Ryan Rinn, Brittany Durrenberger, Megan Rinn, Bonnie Rinn, Travis Gonzales, Kellie Gonzales, Chad Engeling, and Kari Engeling; great-great-grandchild Heather Rinn; sister-in-law Nola Glaeser of Columbus and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Active Pallbearers: her grandsons, Randall Rudloff, Michael Rudloff, Barry Bean, Robert Wayne Rinn, Curtis Darrel Rinn, Craig Engeling. Honorary Pallbearers: her great-grandsons, Brock Feller, Rustin Feller, Danny Keele, Kyle Bean, Ryan Rinn, Travis Gonzales, Chad Engeling.
