Funeral services for Gilbert Rychlik, 69, of Sealy were held Saturday, July 30th from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with the Rev. Octavio Muguerza celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Rosenberg. Serving as pallbearers were Donald Borski, James Buri, David Lee Rychlik, Michael rychlik, Bruce Rychlik, Ryan Rychlik, Paul Rychlik and Paul Rychlik. Born in Granger, Texas, Gilbert was the son of Frank and Mary Agnes (Dubec) Rychlik. He grew up in Stafford and attended Stafford schools. Gilbert was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and K.J.T. in Sealy. Gilbert Rychlik died Thursday, July 28 in Katy. Survived by his siblings, Alice Borski of Houston, Mary Buri and husband Harry of Houston, Margie David and husband Raymond of East Bernard, Albert Rychlik and wife Monica of Sealy, Lee Rychlik and wife Bernice of Stafford, Frank Rychlik and wife Doretta of Stafford, Louis Rychlik and wife Nell of Houston, Bennie rychlik and wife Johnny Marie of Sugar Land, Joe Rychlik and wife Henrietta of Sealy, and Johnny Rychlik and special friend Kim Evans of Sealy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Agnes Rychlik, and brother, Edward Rychlik. Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy.
