Schroeder Terry Walter Schroeder was born on January 19, 1991 in Bellville and passed away at Texas Children's Hospital on May 23 following a lengthy illness due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Terry was 14. He was raised in Sealy and attended SISD up until March of 2005 when he was home bound due to illness. He is survived by his mother, Evadne "Sissy" Abercrombie and stepfather, J.C. Scott of Sealy; father Terry L Schroeder of Sealy; twin sister, Tanya M. Schroeder of Sealy; brothers, Leonard Roberts of Sealy; Jerry Abercrombie of Belton; uncle, Paul Blunck and fiance Margie Holmes of Sealy; and many cousins and friends. His grandparents, Louis and Ruth Heins, preceded him in death. Terry was blessed with a twin sister, Tanya. The two loved each other very much. Terry was always involved in as much as he could be. He was involved in scouts, the Kids Unlimited Foundation, and was the manager of the 7th grade football Tigers. He loved wrestling the most. He wanted to be like his peers and that was the way his mother raised him. He was blessed and was loved by many as he touched the hearts of many by his courage and ability to face the world. The Shepherd's Way Church was his home away from home and he attended church whenever possible. Memorial services were held at Shepherd's Way Church on May 28th with the Rev. Gregg Young officiating. Interment was at Sealy Cemetery followed by a release of butterflies. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in care of IBC Bank, PO Box 272243, Houston, TX 77277-2243. Arrangements were by Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy.
