Shrum Funeral services for Travis Glenn Shrum, 52, of Cat Spring were held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at Knesek Brothers Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the Rev. Bill Mosley officiating. Interment was in the Cat Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gene Wittenburg, Gary Kollatschny, John O'Neal, Virgil Crunk, Phil Yauger and Billy Pettit. Travis was born to parents A.V. Jr. and Mary Ann Keown Shrum in Tyler. He was raised in Houston and was a 1970 graduate of Spring Wood High School. Travis was a consultant for the Petro Chemical business. He died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 in Ennis. Survivors include his sons, Aaron Vernon Shrum of Friendswood and Travis Gage Shrum of Casper, Wyo.; brothers, Steven Avey Shrum of Cat Spring and Allen Gregory Shrum and wife, Carol of Greenwood; nieces and nephews Rainy Shrum of Cat Spring, Tanner, Kelsey and Ashley Shrum of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by parents, A.V. Jr. and Mary Ann Shrum. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cat Spring Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 38, Cat Spring, Texas 78933.
