Graveside services for Marguerite Anne Wilson, 93, of Bellville were held Sunday, November 13 at 2 p.m. from Oak Knoll cemetery with the Rev. W.C. Hall officiating. She died November 11th in Bellville. Pallbearers serving were David Wilson, Steve Wilson, Jeff Ingram, Bill Marshall, Erik Haugen, and Jason Manning. Honorary pallbearers were Albert Diaz and Sean Diaz. Born in Houston, Marguerite was the daughter of John Henry and Mattie (Kuykendahl) Barnes. Raised in Houston, she graduated from Reagan High School in 1930. The former Miss Barnes and Mr. Morris L. Wilson were married in 1935, with ceremony held in Houston. She was a full time homemaker and lifeline member of the First United Methodist Church in Houston, Junction and in Bellville. Wilson is survived by: daughter -- Jane Causey and husband Tony of Bellville; sons -- Morris L. Wilson Jr. and wife Jeanette of New Braunfels; Jon Richard Wilson and wife Sandra of Houston; grandchildren -- Teri Diaz and Albert, David Wilson and Christi, Sherry Ingram and Jeff, Steve Wilson and Stacey, Tracey Marshall and Bill, Dennis Haugen and Erik, Brandi Manning and Jason; nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents -- John Henry and Mattie Barnes; husband -- Morris L. Wilson Sr; brother -- Jonathan, Clayton and Haley. Arrangements were under the direction of the Knesek Family Funeral Chapels of Bellville.
