Funeral services for Lucile Elaine (Jaster) Wunderlich, 88, of Warrenton were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at St. John Lutheran Church in Warrenton with Pastor Karl Johnson officiating. Interment followed in the Florida Chapel Cemetery near Round Top. Mrs. Wunderlich was born Jan. 21, 1917, in Round Top, Texas, the daughter of Adolph and Lillie (Wiederaenders) Jaster. Baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top, she married Elton Adolph Wunderlich on Sept.r 26, 1937, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top. A resident of the Warrenton area her entire life, she was a homemaker her entire life, helping her husband on the dairy farm. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed canning, gardening, sewing and flowers of all kinds. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Warrenton where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years and was a member of the Ladies Aid Organization. Mrs. Wunderlich passed away Thursday afternoon, Sept. 1, 2005, in a LaGrange nursing home at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 10 days. She is preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Lillie (Wiederaenders) Jaster; her husband, Elton Wunderlich on July 1, 2005; (2) brothers, Edmund Jaster and Melvin Jaster; (2) sisters-in-law, Milda Ullrich and her husband Adam; Elsie Wunderlich. Survivors include:(4) daughters, Janice Fridel and husband Louis of Wimberly; Carol Von Minden and husband Weldon of LaGrange; Mary Schulze and husband Erland of LaGrange; Deborah Pfeffer and husband DuWayne of Bellville; (1) son, James Wunderlich and wife Ruth of Ellinger; (14) grandchildren, (9) great-grandchildren; (1) sister-in-law, Ellen Jaster of San Marcos; (1) brother-in-law, Melvin Wunderlich of Winedale; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Bradley Von Minden, Jeff Schulze, Kevin Schulze, Darren Pfeffer, Doug Pfeffer, Dustin Pfeffer, Greg Fridel, Patrick Wunderlich, Christopher Wunderlich, Chris del Hierro, David Gardner, Larry Wyant, Ken Stoher, John Snowden. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Brazos Valley, 302 E. Blue Bell Road, Brenham, Texas 77833 or St. John Lutheran Church, 4446 S. State Highway 237, Round Top, Texas 78954.
