Funeral services for Vivian "Deedee" Muery Doleshal were conducted Saturday, July 14, 2007, at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Milroy Gregor officiating. She died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in a Brenham nursing facility at the age of 93. Interment followed funeral services at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers included Keith Krueger, William Krueger, Brad Schwarze, Lee Goebel, Ronald Muery, Leslie Doleshal, Jr. Vivian "Deedee" Muery Doleshal was born March 20, 1914 in Bellville, the daughter of Otto and Josephine Bartay Muery. She grew up in and attended school in Bellville. On November 20, 1954, Vivian was united in marriage with Armond Emil Doleshal. They made their home in Bellville where they were members of St. John Lutheran Church, and had both served as tellers for the church. A licensed beautician, Vivian owned and operated a beauty shop for a number of years. She enjoyed sewing, needle pointing and gardening. Armand preceded Vivian in death on February 4, 2007. She is survived by her sister: Dolores Loesch; sister in law; Minerva Muery, both of Bellville; nephews: Maurice Newman and his wife Gail, and C.J. Newman and his wife, Mary Jo, all of Bellville, Leslie Doleshal, Jr. and his wife, Virginia, of Austin and Ronald Muery of Bellville; nieces: Lesia Schwarze and her husband, Brad, Sherrie Lehman and her husband, David, all of Bellville, Pattie Burgess and her husband, Paul, of Sugar Land, Pam Goebel and her husband, Lee, of Bellville and Sue Krueger and her husband, William, of Brenham; and many other dear friends and relatives. Besides her husband, Vivian was also preceded in death by her parents. Posted by Joy Neely
