Maresh

Doris Jean Maresh, 68, of Bellville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008 in The Woodlands, Texas.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. from Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert L. Sorensen, officiating.

Doris was born Jan. 22, 1940 in New Wehdem to Ernest and Edella (Schroeder) Grimm. She attended schools in Bellville graduating from Bellville High School.

Doris was united in marriage with Franklin Maresh on Dec. 23, 1958.

She retired from Brenham State School after 19 years of service.

Doris is survived by her husband, Franklin Maresh of Bellville,; son, Jimmy Maresh of Bellville; grandson, Franklin Dale Maresh and wife, Heather; great grandchildren, Hillary Faith and Hunter Dale Maresh, all of Cut and Shoot, Texas; sister, Evelyn Beck and husband, Vernon of Brenham; along with many close friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ernest (Sonny) Grimm.
