Velma Ann Anderson passed away on August 28, 2009 at St. Christus Catherine Hospital at the age of 45.

She was born on Sept. 11 to Kado and Nettie Lane.

She is survived by her husband Anthony and son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Michelle Anderson, two sisters, Thelma Hordge, Flor Ann Lane and three brothers, Joseph Lane, Charles Lane and Lonnie Lane.

She will be greatly missed.

Services for Velma were held Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the Parker Chapel AME Church, Highway 36 South, Wallis.

Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy in charge of arrangements.
