Funeral Services for Mary Wilson Anzaldua, 61, of Sealy were held on Friday, Feb.6, 2009 at 10:30
a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Thuy Quang Nguyen celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal.
Interment followed in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Sealy. Serving as pallbearers were Ken
Wilson, William Wilson, Scott Wilson, Vincent Rios, Mike Zapalac and Robert Lisiecki.
Mary was born in Houston to parents LaRue and Annie (Smahel) Wilson.
She was raised in Jasper and in Frydek. She attended school in Sealy.
On Feb. 13, 1974 the former Miss Mary Wilson was joined in marriage to Mr. Benito Anzaldua
with a ceremony held in Rosenberg. Mary worked as a nurse at Colonial Belle Nursing Home as well as others in the area. Mary enjoyed her job and did it very well.
She also loved to make trips to the casinos when she took a little time away from work. She also enjoyed the many trips she made to visit her daughter in
Louisiana. Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frydek. Mary Wilson Anzaldua passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 in Bellville.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Lori Anne McKay and husband John of Cloutierville, La., sisters,
Emilie Zapalac and husband Sylvester of Sealy, Elizabeth Kurtz and husband Mark of Magnolia, brothers, Thomas Wilson and wife Anne of Sealy, Willie Wilson and
wife Pat of Iola and Reginald Wilson and wife Barbara of Columbus and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, LaRue and Annie Wilson and husband Benito Anzaldua.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in Mary’s name to The American
Cancer Society, Austin County Unit, P.O. Box 501, Bellville, Texas 77418
