Bechtel

Charles Matthew Bechtel, age 11, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009.

Matt was a son, brother, and a friend, who cherished the love of his family, and the friendships that he made.  Everyone said, that once you met Matt, you never forgot him.  He loved to make people laugh, and he brought his dad, mom, sister, family, and friends, a wonderful amount of joy, happiness, and laughter.

Visitation was held Sunday, March 15, 2009, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, Texas. 

Funeral Services were held Monday, March 16, 2009, 11 a.m. at  Sugar Land First United Methodist Church, 431 Eldridge Rd., Sugar Land, Texas.  Interment was private.

“It was time for Jesus to come and take Matthew, our little sweetheart’s hand, and lead him to God.  We were so lucky to have him; he brought us so much joy.  And although he will be greatly missed, he will be watching over us with all the other angels.”
