Karen A. Browder, 62, of Bellville, died Nov. 2, 2009.

She was born in Jefferson County, Ala., on Feb. 2, 1947.

She lived many years in El Campo with her husband helping with their local carpet cleaning business. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She is survived by her daughter: Amelia Mellard of Bellville; son: Nathan Browder of Cedar Creek; daughter: Emily Glantz of Sweden; grandchildren: Hailey and Chase Mellard.

Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 701 South Line Ave., Bellville 77418.
