Funeral services for Van Eubanks, 58, of Orchard were held on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Knesek and Sons
Funeral Home in Wallis with the Rev. Kenneth Hightower officiating.
Van Lamar Eubanks went to be with the Lord on Nov. 24, 2009. Interment was in the Concord Cemetery in Fairchild,
Pallbearers were Lynn and Joey Meshell, Chad Hass, Trey Ellerby, John David Kendrick and Phil Morgan.
Van Lamar Eubanks was born to Charlie Delma Eubanks and Rosemary Brocoto Eubanks in Clarksdale, Miss.
He moved with his mother to Shreveport where they met his very loved dad Charles Meshell and was raised in
Shreveport, La. and graduated from Woodlawn High School in Shreveport and attended Wharton Junior College.
Van met Ann Kendrick in high school and married the former Miss Ann Kendrick on Feb. 25, 1971 in Houston they had
two children Sherri Macha and Stuart Eubanks.
Van loved fishing all his life but after his three grandsons were born he enjoyed fishing more. Van worked as a
Lab Technician in Truck Manufacturing.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include, his loving wife, of 38 years, Ann Kendrick Eubanks of Orchard, mother, Rosemary Brocoto Potts
and husband Jimmy of Bates, Mississippi, daughter Sherri Macha and husband Ricky of Wallis, son, Stuart Lamar Eubanks of Orchard, brother, Lynn Meshell and
wife Cindy of Shreveport, La. and Joe Meshell and wife Cindy of Shreveport, La., his very loved three grandsons, Colton, Connor and Clayton Macha and numerous
nieces and nephews, his loved mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Florine Kendrick of Orchard, brothers-in-law, Steve Kendrick of Simonton and William
Kendrick and wife Kathy of Needville, sister-in-law, Lynn Morgan and husband Phil of Bellville and his uncle, Robert Harrington of Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his beloved dad, Charles Meshell and brother, Larry Meschell.
Vanís family would like to express their very sincere gratitude to Dr. Carlos Munoz, Dr. Utlam Tripathy and Dr.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Knesek and Sons Funeral Home in Wallis.
