Aug. 23, 2009, Steven Ray Kirby went to be with Jesus at the age of 45.
Steve passed away at the family farm in Kosse, Texas.
He was born Dec. 17, 1963 to Isaac Monroe Kirby and Sue Bailey Kirby.
Along with his parents he is survived by his two daughters, Rebecca Tucker and her husband Chad of Rosharon, Amy
Kirby and Mario Gonzalez of Alvin; his brothers, Greg Kirby and wife Rhonda, Mike Kirby and wife Irma, both of Houston, Kevin Kirby and wife Jana of Nacogdoches;
and also several nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Steve has one grandson, Jr, that he was so very proud of. He is also survived by his fiance. Lisa Binford of
Bellville, and her three children, Carrie, Chelsea, and Carson.
Steve loved hunting, fishing, golfing, swimming in the tank at Kosse, and anything else he could find to do
As much as he loved the outdoors, his love for his family and friends was even greater. Steve’s ashes will be
scattered at the family farm that he loved so much, in Kosse.
Steve was a loyal employee of New Process Steel in Houston, for 17 years.
Honorary pallbearers were, Greg Kirby, Kevin Kirby, Mike Kirby, Mike Kirby Jr. (Lil Mike), Chad Tucker, Mario
Gonzalez, Carson Binford, Spencer Honeycutt, Daniel Wick, Donnie Williams, Jimmie Smith, Scott Lucas, Tin Man, Zach Rosson, Bill Bailey (Uncle Bill), and all of
the employees of New Process Steel.
Steve was a wonderful man who touched everyone he met. His laughter and quick wit will forever be in our hearts.
His generosity to so many will never by forgotten.
While your time on earth was way to short, we are truly blessed to have been impacted by your warm heart.
We Love You, and miss you so very much.
