Janie Krueger, 57, of Bellville, TX passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 in Bellville.
Services were held Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 10 a.m. from Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church
with Rev. Tim Bucek, officiating. Interment followed in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Bellville. Pallbearers were Gerald Tegeler, Frankie Macat, Edwin Shupak,
Jr., Raymond Broz, Brandon Blume, Kevin Wunderlich and Brian Siemsglusz. Honorary pallbearers were Jordan Siemsglusz and Kyler Froebel.
Janie was born on Sept. 8, 1951 in Bellville, the daughter of Frank and Gladys (Macat) Broz.
She lived on her parentís farm in Bleiblerville where she helped her daddy during the summers in
the cotton fields and enjoyed cruising around in her red mustang.
She attended Welcome Elementary until eighth grade, and then she attended and graduated from
Bellville High School where she met her future husband, Roger Krueger.
Roger and Janie were married on July 28, 1978.
On March 8, 1981 they were blessed with their son, Ryan.
On Jan. 22, 2005, Ryan married Kandis Sobieski. On Nov. 20, 2006 Ryan and Kandis had their son Kash.
Kash was the light of Janieís life. She loved to play tractors with him and bake him sweets to eat.
Janie started selling insurance for Earnst Baumgart immediately after graduating high school.
She then sold insurance for Gerald Tegeler which became Van Dyke and Rankin.
Janie loved to cook and bake. She made fried chicken almost every weekend for her family. She also
liked working in her flower beds in her spare time.
She is survived by her husband, Roger, son, Ryan and wife, Kandis, grandson, Kash Krueger, sisters,
Bebe Wunderlich and husband, Roger, Carol Schroeder and husband, Larry, mother-in-law, Viola Krueger, sister-in-law, Linda Blume and husband, Bill, brother-in-law
David Krueger and wife, Rosie along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Janie is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gladys Broz, son and daughter, Kyle and Kelly
Krueger, and father-in-law, Sydney Krueger.
