Ronnie Edward Krumrey was born Feb. 1, 1943 in Bellville, Texas to parents Gardner “Mac” and Ruth Kendrick
He graduated from Brazosport High School in 1961 and in 1963 joined the U.S. Army.
Ronnie worked for the Austin County Sheriff’s Office and the Bellville Police Department.
During this time he also worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier and supervisor in Lake Jackson,
Texas and Houston.
He retired from the Post Office in Bellville in 2003 with 30 years of service.
On Oct. 22, 1993 he married Jeanne Berry Krumrey at the Bellville United Methodist Church.
Ronnie is also survived by his mother, Ruth Krumrey; one daughter, Shannon Reichert (Tom); sons, Roger Krumrey (Dinorah),
Joe Berry (Karman) and Jeff Berry (Jamie). He has eight grandchildren: Nolan Phillips, Krysti and Kole Krumrey, Joshua and Jacob Hernandez, Alivia, Hunter and
Karrigan Berry; brothers, Doyle (Linda) and Alan (Diana) Krumrey, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ronnie was a member of Bellville United Methodist Church. He was a past member of the Austin County Sheriff’s
Mounted Posse and for many years rode as a scout for the Salt Grass Trail Ride.
He was preceded in death by Mac Krumrey, his father; Carol Krumrey, mother of his son, Roger; and Brison Phillips,
late husband of Shannon Reichert.
