Preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters: Lucille Penrice, Mae Emma Davis, Daisy Fisher, Come Palmer, Irene Smith, Minor Smith, Frank Smith, Ruth Benjamin, Henrietta Reese, and Willie Smith.

Daughter: Betty Queen Haywood; grandchildren: Earnestine Crawford (Carl), James Haywood, Joyce Henderson (Ernest), Debra Gaines (Tony), Sharon Carter (Gerald); great grandchildren: Carl Jr., Ernest Jr., Ashley, Katara, Asia, Kyndal, Corie, Kearstin.

Church: Isaiah Community AME Church, Missionary, Stewardess

Sunset: Saturday Feb. 28, 2009 at Bellville General Hospital

Memorial Service were held at Historic Allen Chapel AME Church in Bellville at 11 am. on Wednesday March 4, 2009 with the Rev. Luther Shaw officiating.

Interment at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Burleigh.
