Hannah Lan’ey Soto-Childers received her angel wings Thursday, May 14, 2009, at the age of 10 months and 25
days. Though her time here was too short, Hannah will live forever in our hearts.
She was born June 19, 2008, in Katy, Texas, to parents William Harvey Childers and Lynda LaN’ey Soto-Childers,
and from that day brought joy to her family and melted the hearts of those she met.
Hannah was a beautiful little girl who loved watching The Wiggles. She will be remembered for her love of the
outdoors where she liked to swing, play with her big sister, Haley, and splash in her pool. She also loved playing with her new puppy, Mud Bud.
Hannah passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Bellville, Texas with her family who loved her deeply.
She leaves behind her parents Billy Childers and Lynda Soto-Childers; big sister Haley LaN’ey Soto;
grandparents Eddie and Kathryn Soto; all of Bellville; great grandparents Bill Childers of Houston, James and Barbara Gardner of Coquille, Oregon, and Julio Soto
of Houston. She is also survived by her two uncles Travis Soto of Bellville and James Davis of Houston; great aunts and uncles Tia and Bubba Golden of Katy, Niki
and Bill Wantuck of Cypress, and Jennifer and Ricky Soto of Houston; along with many other dear friends and relatives.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009, at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.
Graveside Service followed at 3:00 p.m. at the Oak Knoll Cemetery with Pastor Tom Bolin officiating.
