at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville and confirmed on Dec. 22, 1968 at Trinity Lutheran Church by Pastor O.C. Schreiner in Sealy.
He attended School in the Cleveland Community.
On June 24, 1967 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Lee ( Moore ) White in Bellville , and took on the big job
of raising four step-children.

Sons of Hermann Lodge in Cat Spring since Sept. 9, 1949.
He served his country during WWII in the US Navy on the USS Springfield.
During his lifetime he owned L. Tipp Trucking Co.
He never knew a stranger and always was willing to help anybody in need to the best of his ability.
He loved a good joke. The best one, of all time, being giving Dorothy a one caret ring that she always hoped for
at Christmas. She opened the box and inside was her one caret ring, a brass ring with a carrot stuck on it from out of the garden. Everyone else thought it was
funny except Dorothy.
He did a fine job of raising his four stepchildren and would always tell everyone that they were his sons and
daughters, no step about it.
