Bobby Earl Tise was born Dec. 24, 1936, in Eagle Lake, to parents Lee and Etta Mae Kessler Tise. He grew up and
attended schools in Eagle Lake and Shaw, Mississippi.
A truck driver by trade, Bobby hauled livestock. He made his home in numerous places in Texas before moving to
Sealy, Texas in the 1980s. A Morman by faith, he was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sealy where he never missed a service.
He also served as President of the local Sealy American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). In his downtime, Bobby enjoyed fishing, reading, and sightseeing.
He passed away unexpectedly and was found June 1, 2009, at his home in Sealy. He was 72 years old. Bobby is
survived by one brother: Clarence Lee Tise and his wife, Barbara, of Blessing; two sisters: Nettie Elizabeth Barfield and her husband, Clarence, of La Porte, and
Gracie Jean Pearson and her husband, Roger, of Temple; and his nephews and nieces: Johhny Wayne and Sonya Tise of Palacios, Bertice Lee and Arnie Tise of
Albuquerque, New Mexico, Carey Neal and Natalie Tise of Bellville, Jack S. and Lisa Barfield of La Porte, Michael and Angie Barfield of Houston, Kimberly and
Thomas Karstedt of La Grange, Amy and Chris Raabe of Halletsville, Mellony Jean Schein of Edna, Tina Lynette LaFoy of Baytown, Kathy Joann and Al Miska of Edna,
Charles R. Tise of Arkansas, Donald Tise and Ronald Tise, both of Dayton, Shelly and Chad Lovett of Huntington, and Carolyn and John Peters of Temple; and many
other dear friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his four brothers: Charles, Joe, James Ray, and Sammy Tise.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.
The funeral service was at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with Branch President
Jose Robles, officiating.
Interment was at San Felipe Cemetery in San Felipe, Texas.
Pallbearers were Johnny Tise, Al Miska, John Peters, Doug Tise, Darrell Tise, and Roger Birdwell.
