Waylon Edward Wagner peacefully entered into eternal rest with his Lord, on Tuesday, March 17,
He was born in Lampasas, Texas on Dec. 16, 1980 and passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Memorial
Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas.
Waylon was married to Amanda Joan Ottmer on Aug. 14, 2004 at St. John Lutheran Church of Bellville
and they made their home in Bellville.
Avid dog lovers, the couple raised their K-9 family of Monte, Bentley, Dodge, Kinky, Cheyenne,
Darcy, Diesel, Jesabell, Gabby, Felon, Madison and Jasmine. They already miss their beloved master and friend.
Waylon realized his childhood dream of driving big rigs, when in 2007, he graduated from the
International School of Truck Driving. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling with Amanda and spending time with his Bellville family and friends. He especially loved
volunteering at the Bellville Chamber of Commerce with his dear friend, “Mama” Carolyn Gibson. He will be greatly missed and always remembered by everyone who
loved him and his quick smile. A few days before his death, Waylon had a dream about “Papa” Lonnie Dannhaus, Amanda’s grandfather who passed away before she
was born. That dream gave Waylon peace.
He leaves his loving wife, Amanda Joan Ottmer Wagner, the love and inspiration of his life; mother
Elizabeth Wagner of Bellville; father, Joe and step-mother Tina of Brownwood; sister, Jennie Wagner; and brothers Joe David, Tommy and Jason Wagner and Austin
Shaw. He also leaves his beloved in-laws, David and Karolyn Ottmer; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Treavor Barnett and his beloved nieces, Allie and Katie
