Bobbie Snow Buckley was born Feb. 8, 1932, in Houston, the daughter of Robert Clayton and Annie Dinkins Snow. She
grew up in the Hockley area, graduating from Waller High School in 1949. After graduation, Bobbie moved to Houston.
She was united in marriage with Harold Buckley on Nov. 24, 1949. Bobbie and Harold made their home in Houston, and
in 1956, they were blessed with a daughter, Debbie.
The family moved to the Hockley area in 1962, where they lived until 1968, when they moved to the small, beautiful
town of Bellville.
Bobbie was a member of the Bellville United Methodist Church, Bellville Chapter #611, Order of the Eastern Star,
and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors, fishing, yard work and especially traveling and camping with her husband
and friends. Bobbie’s family was the center of her life, especially her granddaughters, Amanda and Brittani, and great granddaughters, Sophie and Ava.
She passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, in Bellville at the age of 78.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Harold Buckley of Bellville; daughter Debbie Buckley
Pilcik and her husband, Ron, of Industry; granddaughters Amanda Pilcik Martinez and her husband, Paul, of Industry and Brittani Pilcik of Dallas; great
granddaughters Sophie and Ava Martinez, both of Industry; brothers Dwayne Snow and his wife, Elaine, of Brenham, and Donald Snow and his wife, Marilyn, of
Somerville; sisters Mary Bonner Ragland of Brenham and Joy Smith Wilkins and her husband, Gary, of Bellville.
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, a host of dear friends and her
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara Stanford.
Visitation, 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 at Schmidt Funeral Home.
Funeral service, 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Stutes
Interment in Oak Knoll Cemetery.
