Jack Freeman Graham was born on August 15, 1933 in Winona, Texas.
He was reared on the family farm in Kosse, Texas where he attended school through the eighth grade.
He then moved to Bryanso that he could attend high school.
Jack graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1950 and enrolled in the Texas A&M that
fall. He left A&M in the summer of 1951 to serve his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
After the war he returned to A&M where he met Ann Keeling. They were married at her sister’s
home on Feb. 25, 1955.

upon graduation was stationed in Fort Bend County and in 1958 he became the first permanently stationed state trooper in Austin County.
In 1963 Jack left the highway patrol to do what he loved, to carpenter and farm. Jack was a
dedicated family man who loved nothing more than spending precious moments with them. He was also blessed to enjoy his work, cattle, playing dominoes with just
