Funeral services for Hilda Koy, 96, of Sealy, were held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at 10 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran
Church, 402 Atchison St.. Sealy with the Rev. David Vandercook officiating.
Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery.
Pallbeaers were Tim Kovar, Travis Koy, Cody Koy, Russell Dziadek, John Strohm, Si Corbin and Doug Ivy.
Hilda was born on July 25, 1913 in Sealy the daughter of Fritz Spreen and Bertha Krampitz Spreen. She was
raised in Sealy and graduated from Sealy Public School in 1932.
The former Miss Hilda Spreen married Wodrow H. Koy in Sealy on Nov. 16, 1936 and was a homemaker. She was a member
of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sealy AARP, Exxon Mobile Retiree Club, an honorary member Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aide and she loved sewing.
Survivors: daughter, Loretta Dziadek and husband Leo of Sealy, son, Larry Koy and wife Barbara of Sealy, sister,
Alfrieda Holkamp of Sealy grandchildren, Ginger Kovar and Tim, Travis Koy and Gayle, Cody Koy and Jennifer, Russell Dziadek and Sheri, Alice Strohm and John, Lisa
Corbin and Si, great grandchildren, Celastina and Kylie Kovar, C.J. and Jill Hejl, Nikki Hejl and Brent Taylor, Britni Hejl, Colten Koy, Courtney, Lindsey
and Mason Dziadek, Mikaylee, Hannah and Sydnee Strohm and Emily and Drew Corbin, great-great grandchild Brantlee Taylor.
She was preceded in death by parents, Fritz and Bertha Spreen, husband Woodrow H. Koy, sister, Ethel Myracle and
brother Alfred Spreen.
Memorials made be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy.
