Funeral Service for Lanard Luetge, Jr., 61, of New Ulm were held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10 a.m. from
Industry United Methodist Church with the Rev. Liz Kevilis, officiating. Interment was in Industry Methodist Cemetery, Industry.
Pallbearers were Gary Luetge, Hank Husky, Dennis Peschel, Russell Wait, Hubert Yoist and Kermit Blezinger.
Honorable pallbearers were members of the Industry united Methodist Church, Mike Aldredge, Wayne Hold, “The Lunch Bunch”, Henry Foerster, Rufus Smith, Bill
Hodges, Paul Echols, Wendell Eckermann and John Schriver.
Lanard Luetge, Jr. was born on Oct. 29, 1948 to parents Lanard and Ida (Stolke) Luetge in Bellville.
He was raised in the Schoenau Community and graduated from Bellville High School. Lanard was a member of Industry
United Methodist Church where he was very active, serving as a church trustee and sang in the choir.
He also enjoyed his time at the Round Table at Texas Star Cafe in New Ulm. Lanard worked as a ranch foreman for
many years and also helped Clarance “Bobby” and Bernice Marek and later helped at Marek Vet Clinic. He spent a lot of time volunteering at Colonial Belle
Nursing Home where his mother is a resident. Lanard Luetge passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 in New Ulm.
He is survived by his mother, Ida Luetge of Bellville and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Lanard Luetge, Sr.
