Peggy Elaine Koneschik Lynn, was born May 23, 1932, in Industry, Texas, the daughter of Johnny and Esther Spreen
Koneschik.
She attended Milby High School. During Peggy’s younger years, she enjoyed barrel racing.
A Methodist by faith, Peggy was united in marriage to Barkley Young “B.Y.” Lynn. She and B.Y. made their home
in Bellville, where Peggy was employed at the law offices of Goodwin and Macha in Bellville for several years.
She worked also at First National Bank of Bellville. Peggy enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas.
Peggy passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, in Bellville, at the age of 78.
She is survived by her husn\band Barkley Young “B.Y.” Lynn of Bellville; granddaughters Michelle Hruby of
Houston and Kelli Covington of Houston; great grandchildren Laura and Kyle Hruby, both of Houston; nieces June Coale, Patsy Lynn Mikeska and Wanda Lynn; nephews
James Lynn, Mike Lynn, Tim Lynn, Chuck Gourley, Jo Ed Lynn, Fred Lynn, Johnny Koneschik and Terry Koneschik. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and
friends.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sharron Covington in 1985, and brother Gene Koneschik.
Funeral service was 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at Schmidt Funeral Gome Chapel with Pastor Amy Haralson,
officiating.
Interment followed in Oak Knoll Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Jon Lynn, Mike Covington, Terry Koneschik, Johnny Koneschik, Chuck Gourley and Chip Gourley.
