Kelly Joseph Ryan, 52, passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at his home in Bellville.

Kelly was born on Feb. 11, 1958, in Maquoketa, IA., to Donald and LaVonne Ryan.

After high school, he spent three years in the United States Army.

Afterward, he moved to Houston, where he met his wife, Jackie.

Kelly worked in many machine shops over the years, making friends along the way. He enjoyed the outdoors, shooting and riding his motorcycles.

Kelly is survived by his wife, Jackie, and his children, Jasmine and Joseph, sisters, Jodi and Dawn, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and youngest sister, Kristin (Kris).

Memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.
