Joseph S. Sodolak Jr., was born on Dec. 30, 1942, in Sealy, to Joseph and Ludmilla Sodolak.
He was employed by Wyman-Gordon for over 40 years. Joe was a Vietnam War veteran, a member of the KJT and the
Knights of Columbus.
Joe passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at the age of 67 years.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Marilyn Sodolak of East Bernard; childrenKristen Shill of Boerne and
spouse Bradley, Matthew Sodolak of Fulshear and spouse Tiffany, Chad Sodolak of Vidor and spouse Latisha, and Holly Sodolak of Austin; as well as 8 grandchildren,
Mackenzie, Connor and Alexandra Shill, Skylar and Dashel Sodolak, and Luke, Noah and Lily Sodolak.
Preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ludmilla Sodolak and his sister Margaret.
The family received friends at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frydek Friday night with a Rosary at 7 p.m. and
from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard, where funeral services were held at 10 a.m.
A graveside service was held immediately following at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Frydek.
Pallbearers were Justin, Shannon, Nathan Eschenburg and Gene Eschenburg,Jr., Chris Sands and Dean Sands, III.
Honorary Pallbearers are co-workers at Wyman-Gordon, Willie Jez, Wilbert Saha, Pete Zapalac, Clem Zapalac and Edwin Janik.
